If you have any specific examples that weren’t recognized correctly, feel free to share them. It would really help us in improving the system.

Hip Comic really needs to do a much better job for adding variant covers. I have a few dozen variants that Hip can't find.

I’m having this same issue. Titles that I run this problem include Lady Death (all variants) Red Sonja, AMS (as mentioned), Grimm Fairy Tales, many of the newer titles are rife with variants. If you scan a comic and the system grabs the wrong issue (happens a lot), the wrong comic button is no longer available for me to add the comic manually or at least I’m not seeing it there every time. In particular when I scan say a Red Sonja cover and it comes back as the wrong number lets say 7 instead of 12, I can no longer add the book. I’ve been using this platform for over 3 years and like it, but it tends to be buggy and super, super slow compared to other sites I use.
It would be nice if the variant covers for new comics where added at the same time if at all. 100% of my monthly comics never have a variant available, always have to add my own

This is absolutely the case. And also true for new releases. Comics that I can scan on LeagueofComicGeeks are not recognized on HipComic., for example.

Only complaint..Still a lot of trouble with variants
I buy alot , and it's always hard to find them here so I have to create it everytime.

Missing Comics and Variants
Batman who laughs #1 does not show all the variants it came out with
Joker Year of the Villain - Del’Otto purple variant (minimum trade dress) is not showing
Batman: The Man Who Laughs is not showing
Superman & Batman {French Panini published it} is not showing
Could these be added please
Many comics that have darker covers are not recognised by the scan and add

The series called Batman Beyond Unlimited is also missing. And Batman Who Laughs #1 (from the mini series) is completely missing all variants
